The desk that holds the records
BELLE BUYS HOUSES LLC (“we”, “us”, “the controller”) is the data controller for personal data collected through this website at https://elvariumac.com/. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). Correspondence relating to data protection should be addressed to our editorial team via the contact form at contact-desk.php. This notice was last revised on 27 May 2026 and supersedes all prior versions.
What we log and why
We collect and process personal data for the following purposes, each supported by a lawful basis under UK GDPR Article 6:
- Server access logs — IP address, user-agent string, referrer URL, and timestamp are logged automatically by our hosting infrastructure on every page request. Lawful basis: legitimate interests (network security, fraud prevention, uptime monitoring). These logs are retained for 30 days and then purged automatically.
- Analytics — where you have given consent via our cookie preference panel, aggregated page-view data, scroll-depth, and referral source are recorded via a third-party analytics platform. No persistent personal identifier is stored. Lawful basis: consent (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). Analytics data is retained for 14 months in the analytics platform before automatic deletion.
- Contact and correspondence — if you submit a query or correction request via our contact form, we retain the email address and message content to handle your enquiry and maintain an editorial correspondence record. Lawful basis: legitimate interests. Correspondence records are retained indefinitely unless you request deletion.
- Consent records — your cookie consent choice (stored as
BELLE BUYS HOUSES LLC_consentin localStorage) and the timestamp of that choice are retained in your browser for up to 12 months to avoid repeated prompts. No copy is transmitted to our servers unless you also submit a form. - Age verification token — the
BELLE BUYS HOUSES LLC_age_okflag stored in localStorage records that you have confirmed you are 18 or over. This is stored in your browser only; it is not transmitted to or processed by us.
The processors at the back office
We use a small number of third-party sub-processors who may handle personal data on our behalf:
- Hosting provider — our web host processes server logs in the ordinary course of infrastructure operation. Data is held within the UK or EEA. The hosting agreement includes a data processing addendum.
- Analytics platform — active only on consent. The platform operates under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for any transfers outside the UK/EEA. We do not share raw analytics data with any third party for advertising purposes.
- Google Tag Manager — a tag management container is loaded on each page. GTM itself does not set cookies; cookies are only set by tags fired inside it, and no advertising tags are configured to fire without explicit consent. GTM operates under Google’s data processing terms and SCCs.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data. We do not use personal data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
Transfers across the line
Our primary data infrastructure is located within the United Kingdom. Where sub-processors operate outside the UK or EEA, transfers are governed by the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) or Standard Contractual Clauses as adopted by the ICO. No personal data is transferred to a country that lacks an adequacy decision without an appropriate safeguard in place.
How long we hold the position
Retention periods by data category:
- Server access logs: 30 days, then automated deletion.
- Analytics records: 14 months, then automated deletion by the analytics platform.
- Contact correspondence: indefinitely for editorial record-keeping; you may request deletion at any time.
- Consent and age-gate tokens: stored in your own browser; cleared when you clear your browser storage or after the cookie expiry period (maximum 12 months for the consent record).
Your rights under the UK Act
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018 you hold the following rights in relation to personal data we process:
- Right of access — you may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you (Subject Access Request).
- Right to rectification — you may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Right to erasure — you may request deletion of your personal data where there is no overriding legitimate ground for continued processing.
- Right to restriction — you may request that we limit processing of your data in certain circumstances, for example while a correction request is assessed.
- Right to data portability — where processing is based on consent or contract and carried out by automated means, you may request that we provide your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Right to object — you may object to processing based on legitimate interests; we will cease processing unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests.
- Right to withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time via the cookie settings panel without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
- Rights relating to automated decision-making — we do not use automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects; this right is noted for completeness.
To exercise any of the above rights, use the contact form at contact-desk.php. We will respond within one calendar month. If you are dissatisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the ICO at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
